profound truth by C.S. Lewis

i'm reading a book entitled Cross-Cultural Servanthood...on page 29 C.S. Lewis is quoted saying:

"If anyone would like to acquire humility, I can, I think, tell him the first step.
The first step is to realize that one is proud. And a biggesh step, too. At least,
nothing whatever can be done before it. If you think you are not conceited,
it means you are very conceited indeed." - C.S. Lewis

so...what is your humility like? i'm asking myself that question right now...is it an arrogant/distorted type of humility (which is one that many hold), or is it Christlike?

others can't see our motives...only our actions...
